Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit, the server stores technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure operation). A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS.

Consultation request

If you use the enquiry form, we store your name, email address, phone number, project, message and, if applicable, the referral code in order to process your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no contract is concluded, we delete the data after 24 months at the latest. The person who referred you only learns that an enquiry was received and its status – not your name or contact details.

Referral programme

For participation we store your first name, last name, email address, an encrypted password, your personal code, the time you accepted the terms of participation and the number of visits via your link (without IP addresses or other visitor characteristics). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (participation agreement). The data is deleted when you have your account deleted and no claims remain open; records relevant for tax purposes are kept for the statutory period.

Cookies and browser storage

During a normal visit to this website we set no cookies. We do not use analytics or advertising services and do not load fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers. The only exception is the Google map, and only if you load it yourself (see “Google Maps”).

Referral link. If you arrive via a referrer’s link, we count the visit on our server (referrer and time only, no IP address). The referral code then appears in the page address (?ref=…) so that we can pre-fill it in the enquiry form. Nothing is stored in your browser. We ask whether we may store the code in a cookie she_ref for up to 180 days so that the referral still counts on a later visit. We only set the cookie if you choose “Yes, remember” (consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you choose “No, thanks”, only the current browser tab remembers this decision (sessionStorage) until you close it, so that the notice does not reappear on every page.

You can withdraw your consent at any time here:

Login. When you log in as a referrer, WordPress sets technically necessary login cookies. Logging in is not possible without them, so no consent is required (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Google Maps

On the “Book a consultation” page you can display a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to Google, including to the USA, and Google may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The “Plan route” button opens Google Maps in a new window; nothing is transmitted before that.
